Heiji Choy Black profiles Marshall Brown ‘s ten favorite things for Chicago Magazine. Marshall’s suit was a dream project: inspirations included Muhammed Ali, uniforms, 1960′s African liberation movements, and even dictator fashion (I don’t mean to glamorize dictator politics but there’s no denying that propagandists’ are typically great at visuals). And Marshall wears it so well (see below)! I’m flattered to have it included as one of his ten favorite things–it’d certainly be on my ten favorite projects list.
